Every 4 years, the Bakery World Cup gathers the best teams of bakery professionals from all over the planet to enter the most important international contest for bread and bakery.<\/p>\n

Last January 11 to 13, the 10th edition was being held in Paris, with 12 competing teams, all composed of three members, among the best in the world. With only 2 months to prepare for the competition, all these teams have been selected in May 2019 at the national level, and were gradually prepared for the tests of the international Louis Lesaffre Cup selection which took place in November 2019. Only then have they learnt that they were going to Paris for the Bakery World Cup: from there, everything went very quickly \u2026.<\/p>\n

Interviewed by the organizers of the competition, WANG Li, the coach of the Chinese team shared: \u201cOnce the national team was selected in May 2019, we had to work both on the international selection but also on the Bakery World Cup \u2026 \u201d It was complicated because we had to follow 2 different regulations in parallel. The preparation for the start of the World Cup was sporty \u2026 to bring all our equipment in France, in all 19 boxes was a heavy operation. Then, we made a short training at Baking Center(\u2122) of Lesaffre to familiarize us with French flours \u2026 We had to make the necessary adjustments \u2026 then our convoy went to Paris \u2026 and our adventure came to life! Needless to say our joy when the results were announced! \u201c<\/p>\n

In the second row, it is Japan which brilliantly illustrated itself, followed by Denmark.<\/p>\n
